Every Family Needs a Home

Providing housing and support to Palm Beach County families in crisis, helping them build a path to long-term stability.

Our Mission

Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc. is dedicated to strengthening families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services.

Our Vision

Families are stably housed and thriving.

"Welcome to our new website! This is our first significant branding change in 42 years. As you can imagine, there are a lot of strong emotions surrounding our former logo, including my own. But after a two-year process with the board and staff, we are so excited to share our refreshed brand, a new logo, and a redesigned website that brings our mission to life in a more powerful and accessible way. Our work and commitment to the families we serve remains the same.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in our work – thanks for your passion, kindness, and commitment."

Over 40 Years of Service in Palm Beach County

Adopt-A-Family’s work began in 1983, when three local women “adopted” a family of four who had been crushed by medical bills and forced into homelessness. After helping this family find a home and get back on their feet, our founders formed the agency to help more families in need of a helping hand. Since then, Adopt-A-Family has grown into the largest service provider for low-income families in Palm Beach County – providing housing and hope to over 60,000 local families.
