Service Enriched Housing

With 31 apartments, Service Enriched Housing is the only residential program in Palm Beach County with a savings component built into the rent structure, so each household builds a reserve fund while boosting their earning power. The program serves employed, low-income families whose wages would otherwise never allow them to build savings or escape a paycheck-to-paycheck existence in a region where living expenses are so high. These client families are dedicated to paying down debt, repairing credit, building savings, and becoming mortgage-ready. Some exit the program as homeowners, a significant step toward generational wealth.

The program’s innovative rent model sets families up for financial success:

  • Residents are charged 30% of their gross income for rent.
  • Any amount over $650 is placed directly into an individual escrow account.
  • Residents build savings while remaining stably and safely housed.
