Self-Sufficiency and Empowerment Programs

Adopt-A-Family’s self-sufficiency and empowerment programs are designed to address the needs of low-income families who are adversely affected by the housing affordability crisis – which places thousands of families a year at risk of homelessness in the Palm Beach County community.

Through the provision of emergency rental assistance, affordable rentals, and homeownership preparation programming, Adopt-A-Family aims to ensure that families have a safe home they can afford, which makes everything else possible – steady employment, economic growth, better parenting, education, and good physical and mental health. Wraparound services provide the coaching and services families need to overcome barriers to social and economic growth and to envision and work toward a brighter future.
